More than 5000 fans from across Europe got up on their feet and celebrated alongside the capacity crowd in London for an epic concert that saw the finale of what has been an amazing 15-year journey for dance music pioneers Rollo, Sister Bliss and Maxi Jazz.

When Maxi Jazz announced that the Faithless concert at Brixton O2 Academy on 8th April 2011 was to be their last show ever, it was clear that “The Final Party” would be an unforgettable and emotional experience for anyone lucky enough to be holding a ticket for the show that had long since sold out.

The full stunning arena production in the intimate setting of the Brixton O2 Academy was filmed using the latest high-definition technology. The broadcast, live to cinemas, was in full 5:1 surround sound where Faithless fans danced all the way to the encore that ended with the anthem “We Come 1”.

Thanks to satellite technology the spectacular farewell was the first dance music event to be beamed live to cinemas and allowed thousands more Faithless fans to party for one last night with the band that defined an era.

Steve Machin, Omniverse Vision: “We were able to organise the broadcast in just 3 weeks and received reports from Warsaw to Dublin that fans were dancing in the aisles, which was exactly the party we wanted for Faithless at our CineRock events in cinemas. We are thrilled that so many fans had such a good time at our cinema events”.

Peter Haynes, Vue Entertainment (General Manager, West End): “The Faithless fans were unstoppable! They took over the cinema screen and were dancing everywhere. The production looked amazing and the surround sound made the show come alive as if the fans were in a club”.

The final Faithless live performance, at the end of the Passing The Baton tour took place at their sold out gig at the legendary Brixton 02 Academy, London. The gig was broadcast by Omniverse Vision live into cinemas across the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland and Romania.
