The Breath of Volcano
From 2000 mud volcanoes on Earth 400 are in Azerbaijan. Mud volcanoes are considered the national wealth of Azerbaijan and are on the list of specially protected areas. The documentary film - "Breath of the volcano" travels to the mysterious world of mud volcanoes.
Lahic
This documentary film tells about the village of Lahij of Ismayilli region of Azerbaijan and was shot in the style of director observation of the daily life of local population, the hard and valuable work of craftsmen and the tourists visiting the village.
Şəki
Şəaki is one of the oldest and most beautiful corners of Azerbaijan. Historically Şəaki was the cradle of craftsmen and in 2019 it was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The film tells about types of art passed from father to son and survived up today - blacksmith, copper-smith, potter, ornamentalist and others.
Azerbaijan Film Days is the program of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, supported by the Ministry of Human Capacities of Hungary and jointly organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Urania National Film Theatre between the 18. and 22. February 2020 at the venues in Budapest, Szeged and Pécs.
