Recognising the significance of this case and dissatisfied with the official narrative, Baran starts a parallel investigation which soon reveals things his seniors prefer to keep hidden.
Written and directed by Sebastian Buttny, Saint skilfully combines history and fiction. Set in 1986, during the final turbulent days of the Polish Peoples Republic, it shows a nation grappling with its identity, torn between allegiance to Church and State.
